- Typ D Persönlichkeit: does type d personality predict outcomes among patients with cardiovascular disease? Results -results from this metanalytis are consistent in demonstrating relatively worse outcomes for cardiovascular disease patients characterized by type D personality when compared to non type d patients. -these findings were significant for MACE and HRQOL and trended in the same direction for the biomarkers. MACE = major adverse(nachteilig, ungünstig) cardiac events zb Herztod, Infarkt, Bypass HRQOL = health-related quality of life typ reduziert bei TYP D Persönlichkeit Results: Of all identified studies, ten studies met the selection criteria. - the metanalyses showed that Type D was associated with a two-fold increased odds for impaired physical health status (3035 patients, OR 1,94%, 95% CL 1,49-2,52) and a 2,5 fold increased odds(Sonderlinge) for impaired mental health status -there was no significant heterogeneity between the studies on physical health status, but there was between those on mental health status decreased yet remaindes significant when adjusting for baseline health status Conclusion: Typ D personality was shown to be an independent correlate of impaired-reported physical and mental health status in various cardiovascular patient groups -> clinicians should be aware o the association between chronic psychological distress and poor patient-reported outcomes
