  • FPGA A Field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is an integrated circuit(integrieter Schaltkreis) designed to be configured by a customer or a designer after manufacturing. So for example you can load different logic gates (AND, OR, NOT...) FPGA works with millions of macrocells. Each cell works with a flipflop and a LUT (Look-Up-Table).  structure: see your documents... Programm is safed in the RAM (Random Access Memory). In new FPGA's the programm code is safed in the intern flash ( Flash-EEPROM).
  • DSP A digital signal processor (DSP) is a specialized microprocessor (or a SIP block), with its architecture optimized for the operational needs of digital signal processing.[Wiki] The goal of DSPs is usually to measure, filter or compress continuous real-world analog signals[Wiki] (Analog Signal) -> (ADC) -> (DSP) -> (DAC) -> (Analog Signal) ps: FPGA greater than DSP. FPGA can process more functions.
  • Verilog HDL HDL - Hardware description language Verilog HDl is used to model electronic systems. So you can desgin digital circuits.
  • Sampling Abtasten
  • Flash-EEROM Flash memory is an electronic (solid-state) non-volatile (nichtflüchtige Speicherung) computer storage medium that can be electrically erased and reprogrammed.
  • RAM Random Access Memory: Random-access memory (RAM /ræm/) is a form of computer data storage which stores data and machine code currently being used. A random-access memory device allows data items to be read or written in almost the same amount of time irrespective of the physical location of data inside the memory.[Wiki] Loses storage information without current.
  • Draw a Low-Pass-Filter diagram (analog). See your documents
  • Digital lowpass filter: - equation x(n)+x(n-1): Elimates high-frequency signals
  • Moving Average Filter: - Digital equation - How to realize the filter Is a simple lowpass filter. Digital equation: y(m) = (x(m) -x(m-1))/2 You can improve the performance by using more old values: y(m) = ∑(x(m-k))/i k = 0 bis i = max Cool thing is: You can easily realise the equation with right shifts of your storaged data. • Matlab: filter-function Use to create filter

  • fvtool Todo?!
  • Matlab: ones(1,N) To create a vector of ones.
  • Timer-Register: - How does it work? - Draw the diagram The Timer-Register is a counter. If the register overflows it signals an interrupt. Diagram: See your documents.
  • Realtime: - Describe - Draw a diagram to show a real and unreal system A systems works in realtime if the requiered function realize his computations in the defined time. Diagram: See your documents.
