Use: - Lupus nephritis- Used in combination with cyclosporin or tacrolimus as transplant rejectionprophylaxis Adverse effects:- GI upset- Pancytopenia- Hypertension- Hyperglycemia, hypercholesterolemia- Elevated BUN- Peripheral edema- Less nephrotoxic and neurotoxic - Associated with invasive CMV infection
