• Project phase plan The project phase plan, as a rough model, serves to maintain an overview of the project. It is usually used as an important means of communication between project owner, project manager and project team. The project phase plan consists of phases, milestones and main tasks, as well as estimates duration, cost in euros and workload measured in person days. Phase models describe the ideal course of activies that are needed to achieve a project objective. Examples of phase models are the waterfall model, the v-model, or agile project management model such as SCRUMP or RUP. Despite the different phase models a project can generally be structured into five main phases (pre-study phase, conception phase, development phase, test/piloting phase, close-out phase)
• Prototyping Model A prototype (an early approximation of a final system or product) is built, tested, and then reworked as necessary until an acceptable prototype is finally achieved from which the complete system or product can now be developed. This model works best in scenarios where not all of the project requirements are known in detail ahead of time. It is an iterative, trial-and-error process that takes place between the developers and the users.
• Pre-study phase During the pre-study phase, the requirements definition is conducted and a feasibility study is carried out
• Concpetion phase Hardware and Software specifications are done (basis project handbook)
• Development phase The implementation is conducted The hardware is assemabled and undergoes a performance test The sofwtare is programmed and undergoes a development test The prototype is build and checked thoroughly with the clients and adapted if necessary
• Test/pilot phase Integartive and approving tests by developer and client. The client's approval is followed by the piloting start. Soft- and hardware are thoroughly tested by themselves and together (main focus safety)
• Project close-out phase The development results are handed over to the line manager, Experineces from the project work are evaluated, The final report is written, And the project organisation is dissolved.
