  • SIPOC Rough overview as well as a limitedprocess view- Process consideration should be delimitedon a high level- Serves the common understanding of theparticipants- Suppliers and customers (internal andexternal) are named- Only a few process steps are recorded(max.5-7 steps)- Start and end of the consideredprocesses are defined
  • Flussdiagramm - describes and represents a process, system or algorithm - the course of a process including possible variations can be represented logically - problem solutions and processes can be visualized - The functional relationship or the chronological sequence of processes is shown.
  • Story mapping - shows the flow of a process with all loops and branches - list of activities thar are roughly clustered - similar to a check list - Hence no branches and/or loops, thus giving a better overview - allows status information
  • Simlane Ideally build on the SIPOC to define thescope- Collecting the individual activities/ processsteps and process decisions in a team- Formulate process steps clearly (noun,verb)- Arrange swim lanes (each participant getsa lane)- Assign activities and decisions (make surethey are in the correct chronological order)- Connect activities and decisions
  • Value Stream Analysis Observe the actual process on site• Collect all necessary and relevantdata• Create a value stream diagram (valuestream map)• Perform an evaluation and analysis• Identify weaknesses and potential forimprovement• Redesign the process and display thetarget process• Create a decision template and anaction plan for necessary changes
