Capnocytophaga canimorsus: Gram-negative, filamentous rods- Transmission: Dog bite wounds- Cellulitis. Splenectomy → overwhelming sepsis.

Bartonella henselae: Gram-negative rods- Transmission: Cats and dogs/bites, scratches, fleas- Cat scratch fever, bacillary angiomatosis (AIDS)
